Meet Our Family
We’re Cassandra Frantz and Ryan Metcalf, and restaurants have been part of our lives since our very first jobs at sixteen. We met working at a bustling restaurant in Chicago in our early 20s, fell in love, and never left the world of hospitality. It’s clearly what we were meant to do: creating spaces where people feel welcome, cared for, and at home.
Every Visit Counts for Us
When we came to Laziza, we wanted to bring that same spirit to our community here in Ohio. Whether you’re stopping in for a beer at the bar, a burger on the patio, or a special anniversary dinner, our hope is that you truly feel like a guest in our home every single time.
Our Table
We’re also parents and homeschoolers to three young children, and we understand the balance between family, work, and community. Laziza reflects that balance. It’s a place built with heart, where family and hospitality come together around the table. Because at the end of the day, that’s what food is really about for our family: connection, care, and joy. We hope you feel it from the moment you walk in the door until well after you leave.
